This book was fast-paced and full of rich historical moments that I loved. One of my favorite parts was a line that stuck with me: “My music is Black, and Black isn’t an insult.” (Not the full quote, but the part that really stood out to me.) While the ending left me feeling like something was missing, I still really enjoyed the journey overall!
