Wrong For Me by Meagan Brandy

Did not finish book. Stopped at 82%.
i’m actually laughing so hard because this book tries so hard to be edgy but it’s giving none of that.

before you pick up this book just know that:

1) the hero has a secret wife.
2) heroine only finds out after they slept together for the first time.
3) then, he made himself and his wife at home in heroine’s home as a guise to ✨ protect ✨ her.
4) heroine, being the pushover she is, doesn’t really do much to get out of that situation. (it’s so laughable how absolutely useless and weak she is.)
5) he might/might have not slept with his wife with heroine in the house.
6. there’s one (almost) sex scene between hero/wife/heroine. heroine, having no self-respect agrees to an invite from the wife.

this book is just so romantic. jane austen could never! maybe it’s my fault for picking up a book published in 2018 but i had no idea it was going to be this bad. oh, well.
