I really struggled to like Anthony. Normally I love the enemies to lovers trope (in this case reformed rake to lovers...) And he ended up having some redeeming qualities, but I really struggled to get past some of the early intimate scenes that, to me, felt very SA-but-"it's-ok"-because-she-ended-up-liking-it. They were extremely uncomfortable to listen to.

I really want to like these books more because I have really enjoyed the show...so I'll continue the book series for now. But if it weren't for the show I might have stopped after this one
