Ray of Light by Elle Scott

" I face adversity and challenges but I laugh in their face. I will not run when things get rough, because I am a strong and resilient woman… And it's okay for me to leave." - RAY OF LIGHT by Elle Scott.

I do not normally read science fiction, but I decided to give it a try with this novel and I was not disappointed (slight spoiler: except with who Nora choses 😂). I loved the multiple point of views; it helped when reading how different the situation was for each person and understand how they feel.

This was very fast paced, in the best way possible, with many plot twists that kept you on your toes. I know it took me long to complete it, but that's my only regret. The characters were great and well developed (I would like to hear more from Eli and Ross though).

I cannot wait to read what the future holds for Nora and the rest of Team Alpha in the next novel, Harbor of Light. I would start it right now, but it is currently 1 am and I'm struggling to stay awake. Elle Scott's novel has captivated me and I might be reading more science fiction because of her.
