Plenty of good reasons given here to reframe masculinity, but I kept wondering why an artist was the right person to write it. Sure, he is an unconventional man, with an interesting personal perspective, and has clearly done some research, but I'm not sure what kind of impact the book would have / has had. It's also fairly short, which is great for me as I try to hit my reading goal, but maybe other areas of life where masculinity needs to change could have been addressed too.
