I really enjoyed this book, and I think it’s my favorite in the series so far! As a whole, I love how this series questions all the boxes we tend to put people and stories into:
- questions good and evil and what it means to be either as well as what a happy ending can be. It explores different happy endings and possibilities from your traditional fairytale.
- it also shows what unconditional love is and how powerful it can be between two best friends.
- It even goes into questioning the typical behaviors of boys and girls or the average prince and princess
Without spoiling much about this third book of the series, The Last ever after follows best friends, Sofia and Agatha, in a tale of finding their happy ending in their own way no matter who or what tries to pit them against each other.
