I hate rating books low but I had to for this one. The author did a good job writing in the sense that each characters personality came across clearly. However there are so many things wrong with this book. First off i know I say it a lot but please for the sake of your readers acknowledge that this book needs trigger warnings.

Reading this actually made me angry. I am not surprised really that the author did not put in trigger warnings since there is a scene where Caddy, our main character, learns what the word 'triggering' means and then goes on to intentionally trigger another character purely because she is nosey about what trauma the person went through. Personally I think this is absolutely unacceptable.

Overall this book was very frustrating and depressing with not a single point of relief. Every relationship is unhealthy, every character is severely messed up. I'm disappointed and would not recommend. Needless to say I won't be reading the sequel. If anyone wants more details on my opinion then feel free to DM me on Instagram @Bondedbybooks
