This book is poetically beautiful. Every. Single. Thing. About this book, I adored, I loved, I swooned over. Yasmen and Josiah depict the most beautiful picture of love will find a way. The mental health representation for this is beautiful as well. Not only has Yas been in therapy for a couple of years, but Josiah, who was absolutely against it, decides to attend as well, (for their son at first) and ultimately for himself. His growth, his healing, his character development from these sessions is exquisite. Kennedy Ryan was so kind as to write out chapters of these sessions, letting us peek into what they were like, not only for Josiah, but for Yasmen as well. Watching both of them grown and become accountable for past actions that broke them and caused their divorce was poetic. Then, seeing them both open more and learn to communicate better with, not only each other, but their children as well was amazing. Seeing Deyja, their daughter, resent Yasmen, blaming her for her parents divorce, to them hashing it out verbally and letting those walls down to heal and build a relationship w her mother was just, ugh. I loved every single thing abt this book! I could go on and on, but you should read it for yourself. This is 100% my favorite romance novel, ever. This was my first read from Kennedy Ryan but will not be my last.
