Gleam by Raven Kennedy
5.0
I will come back later and write a more in depth review on these last two books.....but WOW.
I read Guild a while ago and to be honest, wasn't enthralled with the story. The ending ended on a decent enough cliffhanger, however, that I knew I would move forward with the series.
I am sorry I waited as long as I did (almost considering the new book in the series comes out tomorrow so I get to keep on rolling). Auren's character development is incredibly well done, Kennedy's writing is flawless, and the story itself is fantastic!
I read Glint and Gleam back to back so I'm not sure which details belong in each book. So this review will be a mash-up of both. Finding out the twist, of where Midas's powers come from really sold me. I was completely invested in the story after that point. And in Gleam, when she really took charge...wow....just wow.
I'm starting Glow immediately and am so excited to see where this goes and what new paths await Auren and her friends.
