One of my favorite journalists strikes again. I absolutely loved that these articles that could be finished in a single sitting. Each one was fascinating, well-researched (as always), and had me hooked from the get-go. I spent more time talking to my husband about each story than it took me to read it. I also really enjoyed the final article; it was bittersweet, but a lovely break from the stories we had read up to that point. Will always continue to auto-buy anything this man publishes; this is how literary journalism should be done. El Chapo picked a good man to ask to ghostwrite his memoirs.
