I thought this was cute, but it didn't wow me. I liked the small town romance and Spunes seemed like a delightful place. I enjoyed the alternating POV's and watching how Fisher and Sage's relationship developed. I think this took a bit of time for me to connect to the story, but once we got there I was invested. I think the conversations surrounding grief and healing were really well done, and I also liked the communication between the characters. Overall, I just didn't think a lot was happening. I was waiting for with the restaurant, more with a garden and it just felt very slow moving. Thank you to SMP romance for providing me with an e-ARC to read and review!
