Curse of the Blue Tattoo: Being an Account of the Misadventures of Jacky Faber, Midshipman and Fine Lady by L.A. Meyer

4.0

I didn't like this book as much as the first one in the Bloody Jack series, in fact I thought I was going to give this book a much lower rating until I finished the last 5 chapters or so. Jacky gets put into a girls school to change her ways and make her into a "fine lady". Just like a hundred other stories I've read, however this one kept me guessing at how Jacky would get into trouble next. At times she is realistically naïve and other times her decisions were just stupid. There is a lot going on in this book, and where other reviewers have said they did not like the ending, I was happily surprised by how well it tied everything up.
