Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

4.0

Ah, I see why this is so popular among white girls. It's their ultimate power fantasy, the main character is really bad ass. But also snarky and witty, and also kind. She is also good at everything she does. And she is also effortlessly pretty. And she is relatable because she likes dogs and music. And she has 2 boyfriends.

But is that so bad? The male power fantasy is a guy with a sword/spear/gun who can fight entire armies by himself. And that is more unrealistic, so who am I to judge.

Anyways going into Throne of Glass with low expectations, I can say that I am pleasantly surprised that it's not only not bad, but also kinda good. And from what I've heard, it only gets better. I am actually looking forward to the rest of the series, and seeing what's to come.
