in this last book of the trilogy, i’ve really grown to hate all the main characters. previously i only dislike alyssa a little because she’s seemingly just so fucking dumb, and i fucking hated kane because he was so toxic during their separation. i loved gage in the previous book. but now i’m just sad because love really blinded and turned him to the worse path, which was fueled by his evil of a mother. i like chaz the fairy duster. idk how i feel about him and amy though (i’m leaning towards meh & ew). i was so pissed at first at alyssa because i thought it was gage, but thank god the prophecy really did meant kane. and don’t get me started on the plot twist bomb that kane is also a freya-like being. holy shit.
i love the last couple chapters. i wish the author gave dragona & damon more ‘screentime’, because this made them seem not that powerful (or smart, really).
gage my beloved… my heart still aches for him. i’m so happy thad is actually still alive.
i love epilogues like in here where the story is tied neatly with a pretty little bow.
