See What I Have Done by Sarah Schmidt

I just finished this one. I had high hopes. A novelization of Lizzie Borden and the murder of her parents should have been a great book that I couldn’t stop reading. The reality is that I struggled to maintain interest in most of it. The story itself is not bad, but the writing is awful. It’s inconsistent and the editing was poorly done. There were missing words, and repeated words. I know that there are instances where the repetition was intentional, but there were too many blatant mistakes. The sloppy writing ruined what should have otherwise been an enjoyable read.
