I was a little nervous going into Kiki’s book. Of the three women we followed in book one, she had the most trauma in her past. I thought Elizabeth Stephens did an amazing job writing Kiki’s journey through healing and learning to trust again! She and Kinan were perfection, and I loved how he not only respected her human customs but also acknowledged her prowess as a warrior, which is more than she really had from most humans. So, so, so good!
