This was 100% better than the first book, which I disliked so much that I told myself I would not continue the series. I’m still asking myself how this went from being a 2 star series (in my mind) to a 5 star one. There were so many things done right this time around. The plot and side character were much more interesting. ALEX!!! Can I just rant about how amazing s/he is?!?! His/her relationship with everyone was so unique and sometimes even relatable. (And new ship too lol—the irony am I right?)Anyway, the ending made me want to continue on and see where the next book goes—plotwise and relationshipwise. Rick Riordan expanse on lots of relationships in the end (family bonds, friendship, etc) I’m willing to stick around to the end.
