This venture into historical romance was totally worth it.
I don't read much historical romance and this book really makes me wanna read more. I really enjoyed this book and had a lot of fun.
The romance between Raya and the Duke is sooo hot. The strong dislike and hate they had towards each other, while at the same time totally being attracted was so fun to listen to. They kept pushing each other away while also clashing together in a hot mess. And damn those hot messes were something, their smutty moments were absolutely sexy. He was forceful in the right ways and gentle when he needed to be. Together this made for such a sexy man to adore as a reader just the same.
I also enjoyed how driven Raya was. She really is a business woman and has a lot of fun with this. Her fun was very contagious and it made me excited to see where it would lead her. Her driven attitude was also one of the reasons why she clashed with the Duke and it was fun to see them fight over these things.
Concluding this was a very fun romance that I recommend anyone wanting to read diverse historical romance.
