This is probably my first read of fantasy type. It was well written and interesting. So many characters and many animal type characters in several worlds. It kept me reading. I like the human, Jon, the traveler, and his love interest the half elf, Erany, Princess. I enjoyed her being on earth and how she dealt with it. Funny. The feast they had on earth and the people thinking she had a cool costume when it was her real look. I admit some things were confusing, but I think it is because I had a stroke and my brain is still recovering. Lots of fighting, blades, guns, arrows, bloody fighting. Plan to read it again and more from him when my brain heals more. It would be fun to be able to go to other dimensions and doors that lead to all this. Gargoyles, witches, elves, wolves, wizards, etc. and I liked his big dog Gyrax ? He's obsessed with Talor Swift, I like her old stuff, many references to her. Evermoor is interesting.
