I think I've been waiting for Sloane's love story for a hot minute and boy did Huang deliver! The character development that both she and Xavier went through was magnificent. I liked the found family aspect here as well. This was a continuation of a billionaire romance and I'm a sucker for those. This series showcase so many different types of relationships and emotions and I think it's so well done. What was really cool here was all the cameos from Huang's other books. I loved seeing all those worlds collide to help Xavier. I think while I loved the development, I was hoping for a bit more spice between Xavier and Sloane. Their chemistry was incredible and I would have loved to see more of those moments. But that's minor and overall I loved this installment in the series.
