Dracula by Bram Stoker

4.0

I hate that it has taken me so incredibly long to read this book. Beam is incredible and I was wrapped up every moment- hung to every single word. I did listen to this on audio for the most part while I worked through a separate book but finished read the physical copy at the end. I was happy with the ending it was left open ended but summed everything up nicely. I saw some people were disappointed with the way it “dragged” but I was content. This is defiantly going on my favorite shelf and I will be re-reading it in the future and highly recommend this even if you’re not a vampire lover but perhaps a lover of excellent literature and classics. His fluidity was flawless and it was a truly wonderful story.

Don’t be deiceiced though this is not a love story. I honestly don’t know where people get that from but there is no romance between Mina and Dracula and the first half of the story is centered around Jonathan and and then “poor Lucy”.

I’m rambling, sorry not sorry, but I enjoyed all of the characters.
