I experienced something very rare with this book. Up until the last 100 or so pages I was adamant this was a four stars out of five read. And then the last 100 pages happened and it blew me away!

Incredibly moving, insightful but also reminiscent of early Karin Slaughter police procedural which is my absolute jam.

I would advise caution to those affected by addiction before reading this book, as it may be quite stressful to read as it does not pull any punches.
