I thought this would be a scary story, and at one point, on a darkish evening while I was running in the forest and listening to this as an audiobook, it got a bit creepy. But not more than that (and I get scared by horror stories and movies easily). The story was hard to follow (maybe I’m just not so used to the older style of writing and phrases) and honestly not very interesting.
