I for sure enjoyed this one better than the first. The prose was still beautiful without being as repetitively so as the first one. Solid movement of the plot, and although the relationship aspect felt pretty stagnant for the most part, I liked the MMC more. I do wish that more of their conversations would have had…more? More depth beyond just voicing the epiphanies of their trauma responses, although some of it was really well handled.
Overall, I liked it. I loved the representation in the characters. Wouldn’t not recommend.
