I liked this book! I think it's a solid story and narrative. The writing is beautiful and it's a powerful message. It's definitely a slower paced book and can even be considered boring but I think that was the intention. This stuff can happen to anyone, it happens to far to many people and far too many victims feel they can't speak up and feel just like Melinda. I think this is even more powerful considering the time it was published. I would definitely recommend everyone at least give this book a try. Especially because it's so short.
