Amy and Roger's Epic Detour was a beautiful journey for both the characters and the readers. Despite the cheesy seeming title and cover, this book is very heartfelt and down-to-earth as it delves into the mind a of daughter grieving the death of her father. This book is not about a physical journey, but instead about the journey Amy and Roger together embark on in order to help Amy heal.
Definitely one of my favorite contemporaries I have ever read.
