A Rogue By Any Other Name is the first book in the Rules of Scoundrels series. The series is about a group of friends who own a gambling hell. We met Penelope in a book from Love By the Numbers and she is now a spinster *gasp* Michael is her childhood friend who she lost touch with and who lost his families money gambling. He pretty much kidnaps her, they marry, and it’s all kinds of angst after that. Unrequited love all over the place, which is my jam. They have great chemistry and neither of them wants to admit to having feelings. I really loved Penny and her strength and would read this again just for that.
