I read this book in about 3 days because I just could not put it down. The narrator creates such a compelling counterpoint of anxious fantasy during reality. I love that her mind trails off into what might be, because my mind works in a similar way. I also liked that for over half the book, I thought I knew what was going to happen, but then it was a surprise plot line I did not expect. I definitely recommend this. Just the right mix of contemporary and classic.
