I didn't know about Julia Fox before this memoir came out. She led such a crazy and unordinary life. I am glad she is doing so much better now.
I read this as an audiobook which is often the best experience of reading a memoir in my opinion, especially in this case since she herself is the one narrating the story. The writing is gripping and atmospheric. The book sucks you into this for me unimaginable lifestyle.
This book could have used better editing. The book feels a little rushed at times and it feels like she is checking of bullet points. I also wished more time for reflection was included. However, I applaud Julia for writing this book herself (no ghostwriters) and for being so open, honest and raw in this book. She is such a tough, unhinged and unapologetic woman. This is worth the read, but be mindful of trigger warnings.
