I still enjoy the Bobs, I just wish Taylor had a bit more imagination re: species, gender (which is socially constructed and that isn’t conceivable to a writer who somehow only discovers sexually dimorphic species), sexuality, etc. And the “universals” he keeps claiming to be true are kind of annoyingly capitalist/TERFy/hetero. Not profound. Just unimaginative
