The Rom-Commers by Katherine Center

3.0

I liked a lot of things about this: the writing voice, Emma as a main character, the way it explored the complicated family history, seeing the way Charlie's perspective on Emma changed, Charlie and Emma writing the rom-com together, and how their relationship changed throughout that process.

Unfortunately, there was one big problem, I never felt the chemistry between the characters. I saw them as friends and professional collaborators. However, I did not see the romantic chemistry.
