Loved this!! Loved Emilie. I found her so relatable. Homeschooler, bookworm, writer… she was the coolest.
Chatham was sweet and lovable. Maybe a bit perfect but how can you not like the guy?
Ayla was awesome. Loved her.
Cindy. Precious girl. ❤️
I also ended up really liking and softening towards her mom.
I love how the focus of this story isn’t just the romance. I loved seeing Emilie’s relationship with her mom grow and change. Also watching Emilie grow and heal.
I love how Emily Dickinson’s poetry is such a big part of the story! It was beautiful.
Overall, this was an amazing contemporary.

Graphic: Panic attacks/disorders and Death of parent
Minor: Child abuse and Physical abuse
The MC has epilepsy.
The abuse is not towards the MC but another character in the story.
