While I appreciated the concept, there was too much baked in here for me, yet it also felt like not enough connection to Dark Days. Some of the issue was my own - I'm relatively new to reading comics and picked up what I thought was the first volume in this series only to have it be the first volume in a spinoff, but this really could have benefitted from more breathing room than 6 issues.
