I think Jeremy wanted to find a replacement for Verity in a sense - Physically. And it had little to do with finishing the series. He was flaunting his money, hell his wife’s money. He made sure he found a writer who wrote in her genre, thinking that the persons mind would be similar to Verity’s. And that’s when he found Lowen. Broke, lonely, and on the verge of being homeless.
But Verity - OMG. I can’t talk about her without spoiling the damn book 😅
I liked the writing style and how we jumped from Lowens POV to the manuscript. We get to see Verity’s life through her own words.
Lowen liked Jeremy from the day he helped her off the street. And he had a crush too. He googled her, and knew who she was anyway. The shirt thing was cute, but he was really just making an impression.
Y’all excuse me, the writer senses are taking over.
I can say this was a crazy ass, unpredictable book and overall, it was a great read.
