My Monticello by Jocelyn Nicole Johnson

5.0

I found this book by accident and I’m so glad I did! It’s not what I thought it was when I read the library’s description, this is a collection of short stories and a novella. I want to read it again before I share the theme connection between them. The writing is engaging and rhythmic which I appreciated. The narrators of the audiobook did an amazing job and Levar Burton is one of them! Anyways if you liked The Office of Historical Corrections, you will like this book. Oh and yeah this added fuel to my “I despise Thomas Jefferson” fire
