I’m yet to read a dark academia book that has really, truly gagged me and unfortunately this is yet another one that failed to do so. Atmosphere-wise, this book is great. Character-wise… eh. The book just felt very repetitive. Andrew gets high. Andrew gets into a car or into someone’s bed and relaxes too much. Andrew gets possessed. Andrew wakes up next to one of the cousins, confused. The cycle repeats, and repeats, and repeats… and repeats. Main reason why I finished the book is because it was feral and gay and I thought Sam was hot.
