I definitely loved this retelling of Olympus. Making the gods mortal with political power in the city?!? Fantastic. The way each “god” assumes to power was amazing. The world was beautifully built with amazing precision. the plot heavily relied on the strength of the world. By no stretch of the imagination was the plot bad…it just paled in comparison to the amazing world the author built.

I would definitely read book 2 just to experience that world again tho.
