I've really been enjoying this series.... right up until this book!

Characters make weird decisions that feel very close to being out of character. They all act on the worse parts of their nature. The character development is downwards rather than upwards. The plot swings around wildly and didn't capture my attention. Others have called this a filler book and it definitely feels that way - more so even than the last book that was very long for the amount of time it actually covered.

Then, deaths! So many people die and, again, feels completely unnecessary or as if it's for the emotion factor.
