While I was mostly uninterested in the first half of the book on the histories of alcoholic beverages, the latter 3 chapters on coffee, tea and Coke were much more intriguing to me. I mostly picked up this book for the tea chapter, and although I already knew most of tea’s history, the author did lay it out in a very cohesive way and threw in a few snippets of history that I hadn’t heard before.
