I enjoyed the main female character going from “can’t do anything on my own” to “I’ll do this myself and damn all those not with me.”
However, there is so much gratuitous violence. It feels very shock-factor-y. I was horrified for so much of it.
Also, while I love the female character’s depth, the male character is so flat. There is SO much objectifying of women.
I think I’m still gonna finish this series, but wearily.
