The Perfect Mistake by Olivia Hayle

4.0

4 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you’re going to ruin me, then, Isa, I’ll let you. There’s no one else I want to hurt for.”

The Perfect Mistake was so tender and steamy and I devoured it in less than 24 hours.

It features a Ballerina recovering from an injury but is in desperate need of a job and a billionaire CEO and a widower with two children in need it a nanny who will be his saving grace.

Oh, and the nanny has live in his fancy penthouse to look after his eight-year-old daughter and five-year-old son.

The CEO's sister who is the Ballerina's best friend suggests to her brother to hire her as she's great with kids.

You know what that means? Close proximity action!!

I loved the chemistry between Isabella and Alec and they were so sweet together! They come from different worlds but deep down they find a safe haven in each other.

They both have such a great relationship with the kids and I love that the kids weren't kept in the background because they both had dynamic personalities.

This would've been a 5-star if Alec's indecivieness didn't drive me up a wall and I wish I saw more of Isabella and Connie's friendship on page.

The spicy scenes were *chef's kiss* Isabella my girl knows what she wants and even left her kindle on Alec's nightstand after he asked her to highlight her favorite parts from her smutty books to learn what she enjoys (like YES ABSOLUTELY partners should learn what each enjoy in bed).

Also, thank you to the author for not turning Alec's first deceased wife into a toxic or bitchy woman who he was forced to be with. You don't need to smear past relationships to uplift the current one and I appreciate that.

What you can expect?
— Ballerina x Billionaire CEO
— Nanny x Single Dad (Widower)
— 15 years age gap (25 x 40)
— Fun side characters
— Close proximity (living in the same house)
— Spice: 3/5
