This book was a very enjoyable read for me! Not only did it have a supernatural creature, killing left and right, but the different kind of people described in this book, the way people think and process information was also very interesting.

Like in any game, you have those that are very competitive and those that are just in it for fun. That was also here in the beginning. But soon, everyone noticed the stakes were much, MUCH higher than previously anticipated and it is literally a matter of life or death.

I have to say, I liked Mack as a character and I am fairly sure she was portrayed correctly, but I just couldn't resonate with her. I felt no link with her or connection with her...

The one person I did feel strongly connected to was poor Brandon 😭 He was so sweet, so innocent, just wanting to have fun, wanting to make friends and help everyone out. The way he died during the game, was absolutely heartbreaking... He deserved better, though at least, his end came quickly and at his own chosen time...

Definitely recommend this book!
