Fun book! Reads a bit like trivia, but also with the unspoken thesis that much of world history was caused by, or was at least heavily influenced by, economies of salt. I don't know if I buy it in all cases, but it was certainly interesting to consider. Great vibes, lots of ham, even more fish.
