This was a cute age gap romance between Wren, Avery’s best friend and Tom, the coach and Avery’s dad. 

I really enjoyed the way they respected each other and the fact that they were compatible outside of the taboo factor, which made it easier to root for. 

I will say that I did not like that Tom and Wren’s father were also best friends… I just don’t think it’s right for people to sleep with their friend’s kids, it just makes it way messier than sleeping with your best friend’s dad, but I think I’m being a little extra about it for other reasons which isn’t the fault of the book whatsoever. 

Overall, this was fun and I do recommend if you enjoy a sports romance backdrop and age gap!
