The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie
5.0
I absolutely loved everything about the world this book thrust me into. I loved the vastness of it and the vastness of the story but what I loved most were the characters.
The characters were so well-crafted and so layered that I truly have nothing to complain about. You’re not told everything about them but so much is told that you’re left wanting more (in a good way) and no character is boring!
All the POVs were interesting and I loved reading the individual journeys till the final meeting point. I just know the rest of the series is going to get so crazy.
Favourite characters so far: Logen Ninefingers and Ferro Maljinn. Logen is so battleworn and just seems so tired and in need of a big hug
