I did love this series. Loved the plot, the dynamic between Bliss and her guys. BUT, as a curvy woman myself, I feel like the fat shaming from others, the word fat in general, was overdone. Also unrealistic for a curvy woman to be told she can’t have kids by a doctor. I’m a size 18 and have two healthy kids and a 3rd on the way. I’ve never been told i couldn’t or shouldn’t get pregnant. I liked that she was a plus size female main character because it’s not something you see a lot of, however i just felt like the constant reminder that she was overweight was too much and took away sometimes from everything else that she was which was beautiful, brave, fierce, etc.
none the less i did enjoy this series and would recommend!
