The concept of the secret society Magni Viri and how it stays hauntingly out of reach for most is a great picture the author depicted when writing this story. It gave me old school 90s vibes and had a great slow burn of a storyline. The characters were full of life and the narrator did a great job at giving everyone a voice and emotion that matched what was going on in the story. Great read.
