A sapphic retelling of the Trojan war, what more is there to say?

I loved the importance women had in the development of the plot. From beginning they were both the catalyst and the solution to conflict and this woman centred version of the Trojan war was so fun to read.
I also really loved Cassandra, even when she was egotistical and power hungry. Her character was probably my favourite part of the novel, especially with her prophetic powers. I couldn’t get enough of her story.

Helen and Cassandra’s relationship is definitely a great example at enemies to lovers. The progression of their relationship was natural, and the tension at the beginning was perfect.

The pacing is done so well too. Although the book is on the longer side, the pace is fast enough to draw you in without feeling like the story hasn’t had enough time to build.

I devoured every aspect of the story!
