War of Shadows by Emma V.R. Noyes

This is my favorite fantasy series EVER! I am so sad that these books are over. I binged them in five days. I think that this book was the perfect conclusion to this series.
Luka and Amare make so much sense together, and I think that the relationship progression was needed. I loved his protectiveness of her. It was such Damon Salvatore vibes. Their wedding was so sweet, and I adored that it took place on the pirate ship. Omar is such a great character whose depth is beyond a pirate.
I am so happy for Finn. He was always an amazing character, and I truly think he deserves to be the King of the Sunken City. I was shocked that he and Phoebe ended up together, but it ultimately makes sense.
Shoa and Cora melted my heart. I was so happy for Shoa to tap into her Oracle powers. She seemed like a character who was very unsure of herself, and I really enjoyed her character development.
The take on humanity being discarded to all of the harm and conflict that humans cause was such an interesting perspective. Overall, this was the perfect book and perfect series. I could not love it more.
