We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

5.0

Inspirational, moving. I'd seen Adichie's TED talk previously, but reading this revamped version reminded me how brilliant her use of personal anecdotes was in highlighting gender discrepancies. Although she staunchly and proudly advocates the feminist label, I admire how she doesn't ignore our societal responsibility to raise both male and female children to reject patriarchal stereotypes.

My favorite quote excerpted: "I believe deeply in the ability of human beings to remake themselves for the better."
